Since 2019, St Andrew's Medical Practice has been a member of Sedgefield North Primary Care Network (‘PCN’). This is a group of neighbouring practices; Bishops Close Medical Practice, Ferryhill & Chilton, Skerne Medical Group and West Cornforth Certain services are delivered by the network of practices ,including Enhanced Access, Home Visiting Service and Overflow services.
As of 18th December 2023, your data will be automatically shared within the PCN network for the purpose of administering these services. All data that is shared is protected by strict rules to protect privacy, confidentiality, and data security. Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have a number of rights with regard to your personal data. If you would prefer to not have your data shared across the PCN, please inform us. If you choose to opt out of sharing your data, your personal health information will still be used to make sure you get the treatment and care you need. For example, your data may be shared so that you can be referred to hospital or get a prescription.
